Annual General Meeting 21st February 2015

The BirdLife Trogons Annual General Meeting was held at Sapper's Glen on 21st February 2015


The revised SARS compliant constitution was ratified and the previous committee re-elected.
Andrew Pickles joins the committee as Bird Ringing Coordinator.
Herbie Osborne presented the Chairman's Report and Andy Ruffle gave an update on the Barry Porter Memorial Hide Project.


Stan Culley was the recipient of the 2015 Barry Porter Memorial Trophy for his work on the KZN Rarities Committee and the construction of the wetland on his farm.

Mark Anderson, CEO of BirdLife South Africa, gave a very informative presentation about the conservation work being carried out by the organisation.
